Wolfgang Schlüter Quartet
Wolfgang Schlüter is one of the most important jazz musicians in Germany, one of the best vibraphonists in Europe. In the early fifties he co-founded the modern jazz scene in Germany. Now in the age of 75 and some life difficulties (he is almost blind), Schlüter is still going strong, giving concerts and doing recordings. His recent project, the "Wolfgang Schlüter Quartet" features Boris Netsvetaev on piano, Philipp Steen on Bass and Kai Bussenius on Drums (aka Das Hammerklavier Trio).

It’s also an ironic way of telling that this band is a kind of superb.
