Once again Boris Netsvetaev has joined the Lena Bloch Quartet to perform at the various venues of New York City. The band will appear at the Miles´Cafe (May, 14), St. Peter´s Church (May, 16) and at the Brooklyn club Puppets (May, 18). |

Hammer Klavier Trio is invited to perform as the opening music act at the Jazzahead exibition in Bremen, Germany, instead of a band from Canada that couldn´t make it due to the recent disturbances in the international air traffic. The performance will take place at the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof in Bremen on Thursday, April 22. |

Steve Reid passed away... |

Steve Reid has died at his home in New York 2 days ago. I still can´t beleive that was true. I was already shockt after I learnd he had cancer, but nobody thought that this was going to happen that fast. He was only 66. Steve was not just a band leader to me. He was a dear friend and an important personality who influenced my musical being significantly. Rest in peace Steve. You´re gone but your music will live forever! |

Das Hammerklavier Trio is performing this month (March of 2010)at Hamburg Jazz Clubs Birdland (March, 5th) and Jazzraum Hafenbahnhof (March, 15). Also it continuous to perform as a house band at the Hamburg Club Pony Bar on every Wednesday. |
